A spreadsheet risk assessment will deliver cost effective information to allow you to decide how best to eliminate risks from errors, unavailability or unauthorised disclosure of spreadsheet information
How does it work?
There are two approaches available:
The first is customer driven and analyses the risks for spreadsheets identified by you, considering the chosen spreadsheets and all those they are linked to.
The second is risk driven and covers all spreadsheets in any storage locations specified by you and applies a series of filter processes to identify those that present the highest risk.
In both cases your control environment is analysed to determine where the highest residual risks reside.
